Chicken and Shrimp Flatbread Pizza Recipe

Chicken and Shrimp Pizza with Side Caesar Salad Recipe

Prep Time: approx. 30 minutes

Cook Time: approx. 15 minutes


  • Boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • Shrimp

  • ½ Lime

  • ½ cup Distilled white vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil

  • Cherry tomatoes (cut in half)

  • Sliced Purple onions

  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped)

  • Chopped Spinach

  • Chopped Parsley

  • Trader Joe’s Garlic Flavored Flatbread

  • Trader Joe's shaved parmesan, romano & asiago cheese

  • Trader Joe’s Tomato Basil marinara sauce

  • Trader Joe’s caesar salad packet


  • Slap Ya Mama seasoning

  • Barcelona mix seasoning (@thecookingcodewithchelsea)

  • Garlic powder

  • Paprika

  • Webber New Orleans Cajun seasoning (spicy)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. First, clean the chicken thighs. Take chicken out of the pack and place it in a bowl filled with ½ cup of white distilled vinegar, ½ a lime, and water. Rub the lime on the chicken and remove all residue. Let the chicken sit in the bowl for 3-5 minutes. Then pour the water out of the bowl. Cleaning chicken removes the raw taste along with other impurities.

  2. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.

  3. Next, gently add the seasonings to taste. Be careful to not over season the chicken and shrimp.

  4. Then, add 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil and rub the chicken and shrimp together until the seasoning is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate for 10 minutes.

  5. Heat ½ or 1 cup of marinara sauce in a small pot for about 10 minutes and let it simmer while you cook the meat.

  6. Preheat your nonstick cooking pan for 10 minutes, then evenly cook the chicken and shrimp. Make sure you get a nice brown seared appearance.

    1. Make sure your chicken is cooked thoroughly, thermometer should be at 165 degrees

    2. Shrimp is cooked once it is curled into a c-shape

    3. Slice chicken into bite sized pieces and set aside

  7. Spray non-stick cooking oil and lay the flat bread on a sheet pan and add all of the pizza toppings in the following order: marinara, chicken, shrimp, chopped garlic, chopped parsley, chopped spinach, cherry tomatoes cut in half, sliced purple onions, and cheese.

  8. Cook in the oven for about 15 minutes. Broil the top of the pizza to get a nice golden brown hue.
